2. Definitions

Entre Deux Mers: Bed & Breakfast / Gite, located at the above address
Accommodation type : B&B, rooms are rented separately with communal areas or as a GITE, accommodation is rented in its entirety including the swimming pool is private
Guest : one person staying at the B&B and as has been registered as such ;
Main guest : the person who ( On behalf of Others guests ) at Entre Deux Mers has reserved .
The Main guest is older then 18 years old and is responsible for his/her fellow guests .
Owners : the person manages the B&B ; Kris Van Regenmortel & Trevor Moore

3. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to: all offers, quotations,
Assignments , legal relationships and agreements, however named, regarding the stay
in Entre Deux Mers.
Deviations from and additions to these general terms and conditions are only valid
if these have been expressly agreed in writing in, for example, a (written)
agreement or order confirmation.
In the event that these general terms and conditions and the order confirmation are mutually exclusive contain
conflicting conditions, those included in the order confirmation apply
conditions.

4. Prices

our rates highlighted per accommodation type:

GITE
The prices are inclusive
➢ Stay with access to the entire accommodation on the 1st floor + the heated swimming pool with terrace.
➢ Use of materials and equipment available in the Gite, on the terrace and around the swimming pool
➢ Basic provision in the kitchen, from kitchen towel, washing up supplies, basic spices
➢ Water, coffee and tea are provided in the accommodation
➢ 3-course Welcome dinner upon arrival on Sunday
➢ All linen (a clean set of towels is offered every 3 days, more frequent changes
can be made at an additional cost of €10/set).
➢ Water and electricity costs
➢ Administration costs
➢ VAT (can be found on the invoice)
The prices are exclusive
➢ Tourist tax of €0.80 pppn
➢ Final cleaning standard rate €100
➢ Breakfast, this can be booked as an extra
➢ Cancellation or travel insurance and /or other costs .
➢ Table d’hotes upon reservation, on specified days (including 3-course dinner on day of arrival)
➢ Consumption of wine, beer, other drinks, snacks provided by Entre Deux Mers.

Bed & Breakfast

➢ Use of the reserved room and common areas on the 1st floor
➢ Use of the heated swimming pool with terrace and barbecue
➢ Use of materials and equipment available in the common areas, on the terrace and around the swimming pool
➢ Basic provision in the kitchen, from kitchen towel, washing up supplies, basic spices
➢ Water, coffee and tea are provided in the accommodation
➢ Daily extensive breakfast
➢ All linen (a clean set of towels is offered every 3 days, more frequent changes can be made at an additional cost of €10/set).
➢ Water and electricity costs
➢ Administration costs
➢ VAT (can be found on the invoice)
The prices are exclusive
➢ Tourist tax of € 0.80 pppn
➢ Final cleaning standard rate €25
➢ Cancellation or travel insurance and /or other costs .
➢ Table d’hotes by reservation, on specified days
➢ Consumption of wine, beer, other soft drinks or drinks, snacks provided by Entre Deux Mers.

All statements regarding rates on the entre2mers.fr website are deemed to be made in good faith provided and are always subject to interim adjustments.

5. Reservation and payment

5.1 Reservation and payment

Reservations are made via the ‘booking’ link on www.entre2mers.fr . Or can be done through various booking sites, verbally, by post or telephone.
No booking fees will be charged.
Payment is proof of booking. The deposit (50% of the total amount) must be paid within 72 hours after the online booking. The booking is only final after payment.
If the amount is not paid within 72 hours after entering the online booking, the booking request
will expire.
The remaining amount must be paid at least 30 days before the arrival date.
We accept payments by bank transfer and credit card.

5.2 Capacity in the GITE or B&B rooms

The number of persons per accommodation type ( such as stated on the website) corresponds to the maximum allowed occupation , taking into account the available Services . For safety and insurance reasons number should not be exceeded . The main guest is responsible for adhering to the house rules and paying the invoices . At booking it is obliged to confirm the number of guests that will be staying for your reservation.

5.3 Visitors

There are no visitors allowed on site , outside guests that are staying here . We can allow exceptions but this must be shared prior with Entre Deux Mers and as such approved .

In case there are visitors we must receive an overview, in advance, of each visitor. ( number + reason for visit ).

Entre Deux Mers retains the right to add an additional cost for the visitor.

5.4 Animals

Bringing (domestic) animals is permitted on the grounds of Entre Deux Mers, but this must always be reported in advance when making the reservation / booking .

Entre Deux Mers is not responsible for the animal , if this runs away or is injured on the premise.

There is no full fencing on the domain .

5.5 Energy consumption

In case of irresponsible excessive, demonstrable energy consumption, both water and electricity, Entre Deux Mers retains the right to add an additional cost.

6. Cancellation

Cancellations must be communicated to Entre Deux Mers in writing as soon as possible.

The following provisions apply:

Cancellation up to 6 months before the date of arrival is free of charge
Cancellation between 6 months and 1 month : 50% of the reservation shall become restrained ;
Cancellation within 30 days before the date of arrival : 100% of the reservation shall become withheld .

Not making payments in a timely manner ( advance payments and balances ) is seen as cancellation by yourself and if such treated like that .

Entre Deux Mers retains the right to Cancel your stay when not compliance with the house rules after arrival , you receive no refund of advances , nor balances .

If at the time of arrival yourself refuses to enter the accommodation, for the sake of which reasons whatsoever you wo n’t be able to claim a refund .

7. 8.Liability

We do not accept liability for :

Theft , loss or damage of any kind, during or as a result of a stay on the domain .
Accidents ;
Not working or disabled technical machines/ equipment and the failure or closure of facilities on the domain ;
The main guest is responsible for all loss and/or damage incurred by Entre Deux Mers and/or any third shall to arise as a direct or indirect result of them stay , regardless of whether this became caused by actions or omissions of themselves or of third parties acting through them affect the domain located as well as from all damage caused.

8. Deposit

For a stay of at least 7 nights a deposit of €500 will be charged , this shall be settled on the day of arrival .

If there is none damage , outstanding accounts , exceptional cleaning costs or loss may be incurred , the deposit will be refunded within 14 days of departure. However, if well damage or loss may occur , Entre Deux Mers reserves the right for one part or all of the deposit to hold .

9. Complaints

The Guest is always entitled to submit his complaints to the Owners of Entre Deux Mers, by registered letter, within 30 days after stay.

All disputes regarding compliance with this regulations shall be settled according to the rules of the French law .

10. Force majeur

In the event of force majeure, both permanent and temporary, Entre Deux Mers is entitled to dissolve or temporarily suspend the agreement in whole or in part without the main guest can claim compliance and/or compensation. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: illness of the Owners, damage to the accommodation due to storm, fire or otherwise as a result of which normal use of the accommodation is (temporarily) not possible, extreme weather conditions, disruptions in the circuit or government measures.
In the event of full or partial dissolution, the payment already made will be refunded in whole or in part be refunded, without any obligation to pay damages.

11. Privacy

Entre Deux Mers will keep all personal data provided or made known to it confidential and not make it freely available to third parties.

12. House rules

12.1 Check in and out

Check-in is possible on the day of arrival from 5 p.m., or unless otherwise agreed with the main guest
Check-out must be done no later than 11 a.m. on the day of departure. A longer check-out time is possible in consultation , based on other reservations.
Bee late leaving the lodge a minimum of €100 will be charged on the final invoice .
Bee not returning the key with pendant will be charged €30 per key on the final invoice .

12.2 Pets

Pets are welcome at Entre Deux Mers. There is a charge of €5 per pet per night which will be settled when booking online.
A pet is NOT allowed on the seats without a protective blanket. These are provided in the accommodation by Entre Deux Mers.
A pet is NOT allowed in the swimming pool.
Pet feces should be cleared by the pet owner immediately.
Dogs must be cleaned upon arrival after a walk before they enter the accommodation.

12.3 Kitchen

Residual Waste and PMD waste must be deposited in the appropriate waste bins. Full bags can be deposited in the waste bins provided for this purpose
Cardboard/paper should be stored separately.
BBQ can be used, but must be cleaned after each use

12.4 Swimming pool

Drinking or eating is NOT allowed in the swimming pool
Children who cannot swim or who are younger than 12 years old must always be accompanied by an adult when entering the pool.

12.5 General

Use water and energy sparingly • Keep doors and windows closed when turning on the air conditioning
Smoking is NOT allowed in the entire accommodation. This is only possible outside, where ashes and butts must be collected in the ashtray provided for this purpose.
The accommodation must be kept tidy.
Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., any fellow guests who wish to have a good night’s rest must be taken into account.
Parking is possible in the designated parking spaces on the domain.
It is not permitted to make fire on the property. (except BBQ provided by Entre Deux Mers.
The accommodation must be kept tidy. And furniture must be put back in its correct place when leaving the accommodation.
All dishes must be done and the dishwasher must be unloaded upon departure
